FORT ST. JOHN, BRITISH COLUMBIA - Today the Peace Valley Landowner Association released a report by internationally respected energy economist Robert McCullough highlighting the continuing decline in the cost of solar and on-shore wind energy.

This latest report is associated with the decision by Pacific Gas & Elictric's (PG&E) to close both units of the 2,200 MW Diablo Canyon nuclear plant in Southern California by 2025 due to the high operating cost of nuclear compared with the low market cost of electricity. The report states:
